Univanich Palm Oil PCL
Our company is a proud pioneer of Thailand’s sustainable palm oil industry and a supporter of many thousands of smallholder farmers who deliver their oil palm fruit to Univanich factories in Thailand and in the Philippines.

The Univanich Oil Palm Research Centre in southern Thailand is internationally recognized for an advanced breeding programme supplying high-yielding seeds and seedlings for local farmers and for export to sustainable oil palm growers around the world.
Crude Palm Oil (CPO)
Crude palm oil (CPO) is a thick, cloudy orange oil product that is extracted from the mechanical squeezing of fresh palm fruits.

Four Pillars of Sustainability
When the first oil palms were planted back in 1969 Thailand was regarded as an unpromising region for this new crop. Fruit yields were limited by a severe annual dry season and there were few large areas of land available for commercial oil palm plantations.
